St. Charles School Band
Members of the St. Charles School band are part of a larger band consisting of five Catholic elementary schools. The band is under the direction of Mr. Mark Wozniak of Padua Franciscan High School.
The St. Charles Music Association supports the band. Parents of band members are in charge of the organization.
Band members participate in three formal concerts annually, including a final performance in the spring at St. Charles. Members can also participate in a summer band that performs in July and at the St. Charles carnival.
Any student, beginning the in third grade, may start lessons and be promoted to band the following year.
Individual lessons are offered during the school day. Fees for music lessons vary depending on the instructor. Band fees for the 2010-2011 school year remain at $60.00.
